Las Vegas

Way, way back the girls in my family all went to Las Vegas. The trip was very fun! We went shopping pretty much all day. By the end of the first day everyone was exhausted and I was STARVING! My sis, E was searching for a place for us to eat. There was only about three options, Burger Paradise, The Earl of Sandwhich, and The Pleasure Pit (which you don't exactly want to be seen in.) E was so tired that she suggested that we go to the Earl of Paradise. I thought it was absurdly funny. We ended up just going to bed... A few days later we were paying for some stuff at Barney's. Once again we were trying to decide where we were going to eat. I jokingly suggested, (well i pretty much yelled) that we go to the Earl of Pleasure. Everyone in the whole department store went queit and then there was a huge explosion of laughter. I was so embarrassed! I tried explain that I was just trying to make fun of E. I never really heard the end of the Earl of Pleasure. B and L call me EP which is super annoying.

"The Rock"

As many of you know my spring ballet performance, Swan Lake, was last week. Absurd things happened about everynight and they all had to do with "the rock." Well somehow I was assigned to bring on Von Roth Bart's rock during a black out. For the first two nights I had problems but I mean at least the rock made it on. The really absurd thing happened on Thrusday. I had planned the most efficent way to move the rock on but of course it didn't turn out very well. Just as I was beginning to push the scenery on Von Roth Bart runs up and tells me that he will push it out. I agreed and started to move out of the way when he suddenly started yelling and swearing at me. It was sort of nerve racking so i just push the rock on as quickly as possible. Von Roth Bart was freaking out about missing his part so he came crashing into me. The impact was large and I swerved into the backdrop. Then I couldn't move the rock back so I just decided to leave. On my way off the stage I must have tripped a swan because I suddenly felt the brush of a tutu and then I saw someone crash into one of the stage hands. His microphone dropped to the ground and made a huge boom which the audience clearly heard. It was time for me to get out of there so I just ran out of the backstage area. My friend was standing there laughing, she saw the whole thing backstage. It was quite tramatic but I certainly know that I won't forget that performance!

Ever since my most amazing trip to Disney World I have been managing to fail school. First I had to miss the choir concert, that was definitely bad. After doing hours of make-up work I know have an A in my classes. I was telling Betsy about my dilemma and she was quite insincere. According to her all I do is cry over Robin Hood. Sorry, I couldn't help crying. It was just so tragic!

Pets

I haven't posted anything for a long time. Sadly, my life just isn't as entertaining as Carl's and Billy's. But, this weekend I went to Preston, Idaho.
For a long time my cousin Mckenzie and I have wanted cats. We've always played with them at my Grandma's house but, of course they were never ours. So, this weekend the most unthinkably sad thing happened. Kenzie got a cute cat and I didn't. My mom just told me that she was allergic to cats, which is the biggest lie ever. I'm quit depressed about the whole thing.

The Time Travelers

I have started a blog to write about books that I've read. Of course I will also mention some of the interesting things in my life (which is.... about nothing.)
Recently I read a book called "The Time Travelers" by Linda Buckley-Archer. It was good and it had my attention most of the time, but the ending was very disappointing. I would probably give it two stars if I were a critic. It is about two children, Peter and Kate, who are sucked back into time by an anti-gravity machine. They run into Gideon Seymour, who is hiding from the infamous Tar Man. The Tar Man steals the machine and Gideon, Peter, and Kate have to get it back. The book is set in the 21st century and the 1700's, where they run into all sorts of trouble on their way from Derbyshire to London.
